Kawasaki takes the wraps off their all-news quarter-liter Z250 bike, a nifty bike which can serve both as a first bike for new riders and a great economical commuter even more seasoned riders would surely enjoy.

The bike retains the classic lines of the Ninja 300, and blends in some of the cues of the bigger Z motorcycles. While not exactly bringing a new design, the 2014 Z250, also shows spoked wheels and an exhaust similar to what the small Ninja machine is loaded with.

The parallel twin is expected to deliver around 33 horsepower but there's no telling whether Kawasaki made modifications to the old Ninja 250 mill.

With an upright riding position which is great for both urban strolls and longer rides, as well, the 2014 Kawasaki seems like a comfy sport bike and a great small-displacement all-rounder.

We can expect Kawasaki to brings the 2014 Z250 in all the markets worldwide, and the price will most likely be a key factor for the bike's success. We're waiting for its price and then we'll judge it against its most fierce enemy: the all-new, sizzling hot MotoGP-inspired 2014 Yamaha R25.
