The Ninja 650 or ER-6f as it is known by the European customers is by all means one of the coolest middleweight streetfighters around. Kawasaki shows the 2014 model year, retaining the same character which has made so many riders love this bike.

The 2014 Kawasaki Ninja 650 is a glorious mix between the racing DNA of the supersport ZX machines and the comfort-focused design of an urban commuter. This translates into a fast, very nimble bike which can be ridded daily without the fatigue riding a supersport bike is usually associated with.

A twin-pipe perimeter frame ensures a narrow profile for easy filtering and better aerodynamics, while the bodywork styling is nothing short of the aggressive design of machines such as the flagship ZX-14R.

649cc of parallel-twin displacement fed by a digital injection system ensures smooth, high-revving pleasure and predictable power deployment, making the 2014 Kawasaki Ninja 650 a forgiving bike for less experienced riders.

The single-sided laydown shock looks like a million bucks and underlines the modern attire of the bike and the forward-focused thinking which stood behind the whole series. Petal-rotor brakes produce dependable stopping power: dual 300mm in the front a single 220 in the rear.

The new Ninja 650 is offered in Candy Lime Green / Metallic Flat Spark Black, Candy Burnt Orange / Metallic Flat Spark Black or Metallic Moondust Gray/ Metallic Flat Spark Black, with a base MSRP of $7,699 (€5,810), making it a truly affordable sporty commuter. An ABS version is also available for $7,999 (€6,035).
